Dr. John Vickery graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1987. he completed his three year residency in Periodontics in 1990. Dr. Vickery has been and continues to be an Assistant Clinical Professor for over 25 years at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Over the years Dr. Vickery has published scientific articles and lectured extensively worldwide.

FAQ
On your first visit to our office, you will receive a complete periodontal examination. This examination will leave you with very little to no discomfort. During this time an xpray may be necessary. If necessary, x-rays will be taken to further evaluate any loss of bone around your teeth.
Afterwards, our findings and your options for treatment will be thoroughly explained. At that time, doctor Vickery will answer any questions you may have.
Periodontal infection can develop with very little symptoms at all. This is because periodontal infection grows under your gums. As periodontal disease advances patients may experience some of the following symptoms:

Red, swollen or tender gums
